| Lindsay Lohan's Screentest for 'The Parent Trap' |

Being the cool homie that I am, I was clicking around youtube.com tonight and happened upon Lindsay Lohan's screentest for 'The Parent Trap', complete with uncomfortable bantering with Dennis Quaid. Loves it. She was such a wee cutie back then, and you can't (or I can't anyway) hear the gravelly tone of her voice at all - obviously a later development. What COULD have caused that?

Kristin Cavallari's tried cocaine, she reveals in the March issue of Teen People. "It was fun for, like, 20 minutes, but the next day, I just didn't feel good about myself," she told the mag. "It's a dirty drug. I find people who do coke to be very shady, that they're doing it makes them lie about things. I wouldn't want to date someone who's into it." Instead, she's dating drug-free Brody Jenner of "The Princes of Malibu," which she calls her "first mature relationship." "With Stephen [Colletti], it was like high school fun." That is, except for when he two-timed her with fellow "Laguna Beach" star Lauren "LC" Conrad. "I saw what happened when I watched the season-one DVD," Cavallari said. "I cried for days." This, of course, didn't stop Cavallari from doing something similar to Lindsay Lohan, who she says flipped out when she walked in on Talan Torriero and her in bed together. "She was never nice to me until the story about the fight came out," Cavallari said. "But she was so nice once that went public." ...

"James Bond" director Lee Tamahori arrested in prostitution sting
LOS ANGELES - "James Bond" director Lee Tamahori was ordered to appear in court Feb. 24 following his arrest last month for allegedly approaching an undercover police officer and offering to perform a sex act for money, authorities said Thursday.
Tamahori's directing credits include Pierce Brosnan's 2002 James Bond film "Die Another Day" and last year's "xXx: State of the Union," starring Ice Cube and Samuel L. Jackson.
City attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said the director was dressed in a black wig and off-the-shoulder dress when he approached an undercover police officer in Hollywood on Jan. 8 and offered to perform sex for money. He was arrested for investigation of soliciting an act of prostitution and loitering with the intent to commit prostitution, both misdemeanors.
His attorney, Mark Geragos, did not immediately return a call for comment Thursday.
Mateljan said police were running a prostitution sting when Tamahori, 55, approached the officer, who was sitting in a car.
The director was originally scheduled for arraignment Thursday but it was postponed until Feb. 24 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Tamahori is free on $2,000 bail. He could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
